Chlorine Test (CL):
1. Compare your reading to the scale value.
2. The scale value represented by the number represents the combined amount of chlorine and water.
3. For effective treatment, the reading should be between 1.0 and 1.5 (optimal)
Steps:
1. Rinse the test vial and fill the marker with water sample.
2. Add 4 drops of OTO (Orthotolidine) solution.
3. Place the cap on the vial and shake to mix.
4. Compare your reading to the scale value.
Hydrogen Test (PH):
1. Compare your reading to the scale value.
2. The scale value indicated by the number indicates the pH condition or alkalinity of the water.
3. For comfortable water and chemical product savings, the reading should be between 7.2 and 7.6 (best)
Steps:
1. Rinse the test vial and fill the marker with water sample.
2. Add 4 drops of red phenol solution.
3. Place the cap on the vial and shake to mix.
4. Compare your reading to the scale value.
